EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT CHARGES 2009

Take notice that the Halton District School Board is in the midst of updating the current Education Development Charge By-Law 2004. 

A Public meeting will be held at the JWS Centre April 22, 2009 at 7pm to review the current Education Development Charge policies of the Board and to solicit public input.

A second Public meeting will be held pursuant to the above to consider the continued imposition of education development charges and a successor by-law, to inform the general public about the Board's education development charge proposal.

The Halton District School Board will hold a third public meeting to consider the enactment of a successor by-law that will apply to the Halton Region on May 20, 2009 at the JWS Singleton Centre at 6pm.

All interested parties are welcome to attend, if you wish to make any representations to the Board, written submissions must be made one week prior to the meeting to allow Trustees to review the information being presented.
