Established as general parameters, or an overview of operational processes, policies are approved by the trustees of the Halton District School Board. In June 2001, the Halton District School Board approved new policies under the Halton Governance Model.

When these new policies were adopted by the Board, the existing policies then became "Operational Policies". The list on the left references those Operational Policies, many of which are now under review.
