Below are links to web resources and services to assist parents and guardians who are new to Canada or whose first language is not English. 

Purpose

The Settlement.Org website provides newcomers with information and resources to settle in Ontario, Canada. It provides accurate, reliable and timely content; links to sites with authoritative information; and referrals to local services.

Settlement.Org provides an electronic community where newcomers can get information, read relevant news, ask their questions and share their experiences with others, and access a database of community organizations. It is open to everyone and is used most frequently by newcomers, settlement workers and the general public.

Settlement.org is managed by the Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (OCASI) and is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration
