JUNE 22, 2010: As you may have heard or felt, a tremor struck the Ontario-Quebec border region at around 1:45 p.m. this afternoon.

According to early media reports, the tremor was felt in Toronto, Hamilton and upstate New York.

There has not been a report of any significant damage as a result of the tremor at this point. The Halton District School Board’s senior administration is asking all schools to remain open and conduct business as usual.
