Halton Accessibility Showcase planned for April 22 for people of all ages with disabilities and/or special needs 

April 13, 2010: All Halton community members are welcome to attend Halton Accessibility Showcase – A Resource Fair Featuring Programs and Services for  People with Disabilities and/or Special Needs

Date:    Thursday, April 22, 2010
Time:    2–7 p.m.
Place:    Halton Regional Building – Auditorium
1151 Bronte Rd., Oakville

Admission: Free. This event is open to everyone including children, students, parents and seniors.

Description:  This event will provide information on a number of topics including Advocacy, Assistance Programs, Counseling Programs, Employment Services, Education, Recreational Programs and Seniors’ Services.

This event is made possible by the cooperative work of the following partner organizations:

Halton District School Board, Halton Catholic District School Board, Community Living North Halton, Community Living Oakville, Community Living Burlington, Erinoak Kids Centre for Treatment and Development, Halton Support Services and Halton Regional Police Service.
