40 Developmental Assets children need to succeed
topic of meeting for parents

Oct. 16, 2012: Parents are invited to attend a workshop about the 40 Developmental Assets® that all children need to succeed.  Guest speak Mary Tabak, Developmental Asset Project Manager, Our Kids Network, will speak about these research-based opportunities and experiences that can enrich the lives of all kids.  The more assets a young person has the more likely her or she is to succeed, and the less likely he or she will be involved in high-risk behaviour.

Date:        Tuesday, October 23, 2012
Time:        7–8 p.m.  (community displays 6:45–7 p.m.)
Location:  Gary Allan High School / New St. Ed. Centre, 3250 New Street, Burlington
(between Guelph Line and Walkers Line, south of the QEW)
