Parents asked to check school’s website later in day for updated information 

Robert Little Public School in Acton will be closed today (Tuesday, January 26, 2010) due to damage caused by vandalism which occurred during an overnight break-in.  

There is damage to approximately 11 of 19 classrooms and the school’s library. Police will require access to the school while they complete their investigation which is expected to continue throughout the day. 

School bus transportation has been cancelled.  The YMCA’s “Before and After School” program has been cancelled as well.

Parents, staff and students are asked to check the school’s website (http://rol.hdsb.ca) later in the day regarding when the school will re-open.
