Robert Little Public School will re-open Wednesday, January 27

Robert Little Public School will re-open tomorrow, Wednesday January 27, 2010, after a one day closure due to damage caused in a early morning break-in.  

Damage to the school was widespread, effecting the school library and 11 of 19 classrooms.   Once the Halton Regional Police Service had completed their investigation, school facilities staff spent the day cleaning up and preparing for the return of students tomorrow morning. 

According to Bob Tadman, Principal of Robert Little Public School, the outpouring of support from the Acton community has been heartwarming.  

“We’ve received numerous offers of support from the community – from the municipality of Halton Hills, to businesses and individuals – all wishing to help in any way they could. This is an indication to me that Acton is a generous and supportive community.”
