Centennial Public School has Universal Motion!

Centennial Public School in Georgetown was indeed fortunate to have the opportunity of viewing an award winning, interactive, travelling science concert show, which taught Newton’s Universal Law of Gravity and the Three Laws of Motion.
Honeywell and NASA partnered in order to help inspire the next generation of scientist and engineers across North America. "FMA Live!" has reached more than 55,000 middle school students across the country.
As Centennial Public School could not accommodate a performance of this magnitude, the 45-minute free presentation was hosted by Georgetown District High School. Bussing was arranged and paid for by Honeywell.
The presentations included a video of Sir Issac Newton during his "university years", floating chairs, rockets, a super soccer ball, Sumu wrestling and student-size racecars. It was enhanced by live singing and dance performances – all of which reinforced science concepts!
Centennial’s students enjoyed the presentation immensely as was evident by the following student testimonials:
J’aime FMA Live parce que c'est drôle, excitant et il y a beaucoup de danses et de chansons. C’est comme la science pour les adolescents! Alyssa
Your show was really great. My favourite demonstration was when our Vice Principal was on the hover chair. I already like science but this show made it even more fun. I hope you come back! Julia
FMA Live was cool! Jason
