On Thursday, April 12, 2012, Halton District School Board students performed on the stage of the Grand Hall, Hamilton Place before an audience of 2,000 parents, friends and music supporters, as part of the annual Halton Music Showcase event. 

Approximately 1,200 Grades 4-12 students, representing over 50 schools, began rehearsals in February in preparation for this annual spring concert. Performances included stage bands, concert bands, jazz groups and choirs. A highlight of the evening will be the finale featuring a performance by a 600-member student choir and accompanied by a live Concert Band.

For more than two and a half decades, elementary and secondary students in the Halton public board have displayed their musical prowess through Halton Music Showcase.
