To support school in their delivery of Daily Physical Activity for students, the Board purchased Omni-Kin equipment balls for use in schools. 

Staff from elementary schools attended after school workshops to learn about the Omni-Kin Ball fitness program.  Who would guess that adults could have so much fun with large, bright colourful balls?

Several Martin Street Public School staff attended the training so that Martin Street was among the first schools in north Halton to have equipment for their students. Students have thoroughly enjoyed participating in games involving the Omni-Kin balls.  Because of the size, buoyancy and colour of these balls, students are definitely motivated to participate in physical activity.

Martin Street Public School enjoyed this equipment for two weeks and then the equipment is passed along to another Halton school.
