M.M. Robinson High School Students
Convey their thanks to Veteran of the Great War!

Class Photo

The grade 10 Canadian history classes at M.M. Robinson High School in Burlington recently studied Canada's outstanding contributions during World War One.

Throughout the unit, students developed a deep understanding of the significant sacrifices and achievements of Canadian veterans.

In honour of Remembrance Day and to express their heartfelt thanks, students in M.M. Robinson High School’s grade 10 French Immersion Canadian History class created “Thank You” cards for Canada's last known surviving veteran.

At age 109, John F. Babcock is the last soldier to serve in the Canadian Military during the Great War.

Very shortly Mr. Babcock will be receiving the 18 thank you cards written by a very grateful class of M.M. Robinson High School students!
