N
elson High School, Halton District School Board and City of Burlington officials and elected representatives celebrated the unveiling of the approximately $1-million artifical sportsfield. The turf project is a joint partnership between the Halton District School Board and the City of Burlington.

The artificial turf field is expected to provide a quality playing surface for many years. The turf, part of the S4-R intensity series, is manufactured by UBU Sports. Dol Turf Restoration is the field contractor.

A football game between the Nelson Lords and Mother Teresa Spartans from London, Ontario took place afterward.
