Registration begins in mid-January for Junior and Senior Kindergarten
Parents/guardians may register children for Fall 2011
Beginning in mid January, the Halton District School Board will accept registrations for Junior and Senior Kindergarten for September 2011. Please drop by or call your designated elementary school to find out which dates have been established for Kindergarten registration.
The Halton District School Board will provide a full day of learning for four and five year olds beginning in September 2010.

Please bring the following original documents when registering:
- Proof of address: lease or purchase agreement or current property tax bill
- Proof of age: birth certificate or passport or baptismal certificate for your child
- Proof of citizenship: birth certificate or passport or Record of Landing (IMM 1000) or Permanent Resident
- Proof of immunization, or philosophical or religious exemption forms (completed medical authorization where neccessary)
If you are not the child’s parent, or you have sole custody, please bring proof of custody (court order)
To register for Fall 2011, Junior Kindergarten children must be 4 years old by December 31, 2011, and Senior Kindergarten children must be 5 years old by December 31, 2011. Parents/guardians must be public school supporters.
Please ensure that your child is registered by early February, 2011.
Registration for Orchard #3 elementary school - registration for Kindergarten students (and new students in other grades) who will attend the new Orchard #3 school will take place at Alexander's Public School - 2223 Sutton Drive, Burlington. The Orchard #3 school, located at 2474 Sutton Drive, is currently under construction and scheduled to open in September 2011. To determine your child's school, go to the "Schools" tab, then to "School Locator". School Boundary Maps are found within the Planning section of the Halton District School Board website (select "About Us" > "Planning" from the homepage).

Parents/Guardians may print this form and fill it out, prior to bringing the form to the designated elementary school with the documents listed above. This information will be used for planning and programming, school to home communications, and to establish the Ontario Student Record, which contains information conducive to the improvement of instruction.
