Welcome to Pathways
Pathways Planning Information Evenings
We, in the Pathways team, try to give parents and students as much information as we can about the different destinations that are available to students in Halton. We want to make sure that students in Halton get the information necessary to make an informed decision about their career pathway, whether it is Apprenticeship, College, Community, University or the world of work.
Come to one of our Pathways Planning Information Evenings to find out more and to find out about some of the amazing Pathways Programs that are available jointly between the Halton District School Board and the Halton Catholic District School Board. The dates and locations for these nights are below. For more information about the programs, you can also go to www.schooltocareer.ca
We are having upcoming Pathways Planning Information Evenings around Halton to give information about Pathways and introduce students and parents to some of the amazing programs that are available to students. Please pick the evening that is most convenient to you.
Find out more about our programs by watching our new Pathways video.
We also have made a new Pathways music video. Watch our students in action!

What is Pathways?
This site has been designed as a resource for parents and students to discover and learn about available programs, pathways, post secondary destinations, educational career planning, and unique programs in Halton. You will also find a calendar of important dates in addition to resources and “frequently asked questions” for parents and students based on each pathway destination. We hope that you find this to be a useful resource as you plan for your future.
Pathways planning is an integral part of the Guidance and Career Education program in our schools, which plays a central role in helping students understand, develop and apply skills related to lifelong learning, interpersonal relationships, educational and career planning and goal setting.
