What is Job Connect?

Funded by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Job Connect provides young people, who are out of work, with the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge needed to find and keep a job.  To find out more about Job Connect, contact your local YMCA.

Who else can provide assistance in finding work?

The Halton Industry Education Council (HIEC) provides assistance in job preparation, job seeking, and career planning.  The Employer Registry, developed by HIEC, is one of the many useful tools to connect employers with prospective employees.  Contact HIEC at 905-634-2575 for more information about their services.
