EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT CHARGES 2011
Take notice that the Halton District School Board has amended the current Education Development Charge By-Law 2009.
AMENDMENT APPROVED
The amendment was approved by the Board of Trustees at their regular meeting on June 15, 2011.
The EDC by-law amendment comes into force on June 20, 2011. The amendment increases the charge on residential development to $2,506.00 per dwelling unit and the charge on non-residential development to $0.69 per square foot ($7.43 per square metre) of gross floor area. No other amendment to Education Development Charges By-law, 2009 has been made in the amending by-law.
