CHANGES COMING IN 2013
Pineland Grade 1 English Redirection:
Pineland is currently one of three schools which have enrolments where a triple grade organization could be created. As a result, the Trustees approved recommendations in Report 13062 (REVISED) at the May 1st, 2013 Board Meeting as follows:
Pineland students entering Grade One English program be re-directed to another school for their English program for the 2013-2014 school year. Board staff will work with affected families to accommodate these students and, if required, their siblings in requested schools. Consideration for placement in requested schools will be based upon the availabiliity of student spaces, resources and compliance to Ministry class size caps. Families will be provided with the option of continuing attendance at the requested school in subsequent years. Transportation will be provided in accordance with the Board's Transportation policy.
