When I came in this morning, I had an unexpected surprise of about 10 runners, keen and ready to run!!! I was thrilled with their enthusiasm. It was an unexpected turn out as both Mr. Snell and myself had not yet set a start date, as we stated at our meeting on Tuesday that we would start running club after the Volleyball season finishes up, when we are able to dedicate all my time to organizing this club to make it successful. It is our goal to set up a running club that is fun and keep kids interested in this amazing sport, which they can carry throughout their entire lives!

We had a great run this morning, and I am so thrilled at the dedication these children have towards running! Thank you to all those parents who brought your child this morning, I appreciate your support of this club. I apologies for any confusion this may have caused you this morning. Parents please know that you are always more than welcome to come and run with us if you want. We always love to have our parents as part of our program, and its a great way to keep the sense of community here at Pine Grove! :)

So, to eliminate any confusion, I thought I would post an OFFICIAL start date!! Wooo!!!!
