French Carnival

Thursday February 23 2012, the grade 3, 4 and 5 students at Sheridan enjoyed “un carnaval fantastique!”.

The afternoon started with a performance of “Les Trois Peitis Cochons” performed by grade 4 students and was followed by Luge races, ball hockey, craft(snowglobe with un bonhomme) and of course croissants and chocolat chaud!!

Parents were also treated and wowed by an evening performance of the play “Les Trois Petits Cochons” along with raps and a song and dance performed first by the grade 4’s and then the grade 5’s. The students were able to proudly show off their excellent French speaking abilities!

Thank you to all the staff and volunteers who helped make this a great day for the children. A fun time was had by all!
