Welcome
On behalf of the staff, I would like to welcome you to our website and to Sheridan Public School! We look forward to working with our school community to create the best possible environment for learning. We all want Sheridan Public School to be a culture where students feel safe and are given many opportunities to succeed.
We welcome the involvement of parents as volunteers in the classrooms, through membership on School Council or in participation in fundraising or special activities.
We continue to work together as a staff to develop strategies and goals that focus on school improvement. Our goals are shared with School Council on a regular basis.
Communication is key to successful partnership between home and school. Our doors are always open, and parents are welcome to make appointments to speak to me or to their child’s teacher when issues or questions need to be addressed. Please remember that no issue or question you may have is too small to be addressed by staff.
Thank you for entrusting your children to our care.
Sincerely,
Mrs. L. Skanes,
Prinicpal

All medications, epi pens and puffers kept in the office will be sent home with the students on the last day of school. If you are going on holidays or leaving prior to this please pick them up before you go. At the start of the new school year, it will be necessary for you to complete new forms if your child will require medication to be administered by school personnel during the 2012-13 school year.
Please note that it is the parent's responsibility to ensure that the "best-before" date is clearly marked on medications, puffers, epi-pens, and any other medical products sent with your child. |
