Author Visit:

Sharon Jennings, author of many children's books, including some of the Franklin series, visited Sheridan on February 15th.

She met with each grade to share her love of reading. She also shared stories of her sources of inspiration for her books - some were true stories that she put directly into the stories, others were true stories that she changed around, and others were pure imagination.

 Thank you to School Council for making this day possible! Thank you also to the Writers-in-the-Classroom for providing a subsidy to Sheridan.
