Volunteering at Sheridan
Volunteers make a difference in our school community. We couldn't get it all done without them!
There are many ways to get involved as a volunteer at Sheridan, with a wide variety of volunteer activities to choose from. We ensure that if you want to be involved, we find a way to make it happen! There are opportunities that are suitable for any schedule -- from one-time events to ongoing activities -- and can be done at Sheridan during school hours or at home in the evening.
Please review the list on the left of this webpage and see where you might like to get started as a volunteer.
Those who sign up to be volunteers will receive our newsletter to keep you up-to-date on various volunteer opportunities as they arise.
Please ensure you have a current police check to submit to the office. You must include the "Vulnerable Screening" section.
The closest Halton Region Police Station is 95 Oak Walk Dr (by WalMart and Superstore on Dundas).
Please consider joining the Volunteer email group; periodically, emails will be sent out requesting volunteers for a new opportunity. Contact sheridanvolunteers@googlegroups.com to be added.
URGENT!
We currently have an urgent need for volunteers for Healthy Snack and Pizza Lunch programs. Without additional volunteers, we will not be able to continue running these programs.
