About Us
Welcome to Abbey Lane Public School!
In the heart of Oakville, Abbey Lane's Public School is a vibrant K-8 school. At Abbey Lane, we are deeply committed to the growth and success of every student. We celebrate our diversity, strive for academic achievement, and prioritize well-being. We create a safe environment where students feel empowered to take risks and evolve into life-long learners.
We are recognized for our inclusive environment and our dedication to meeting a wide range of learner needs. This includes our ELPHA Class, which supports students with expressive language and phonological support, and ARC which supports learners with learning disabilities with the ways that a person takes in, stores, or uses information.
Abbey Lane has unique partnerships with many community members. Volunteers, including families from Abbey Lane, and those in our community, enable:
*Breakfast Club Program that runs everyday from 8:30 to 8:50. Volunteers make a fresh, delicious, and nutritious breakfast that is free for all students. Kindergarten students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
*Salad Cart every Thursday that is a paid opportunity for students to have a scrumptious lunch which is always a huge success. All food is halal.
*Homework Club every Tuesday after school that is run by Big Brothers and Big Sisters and uses volunteers from Abbey Park to come and tutor students in grades 3-6.
Abbey Lane is fabulous place to grow and learn together.
