Principal’s Message

Welcome to Burlington Central School

Dear Families, Students, and Community Members,

Welcome to Burlington Central School, where tradition and innovation come together to shape tomorrow’s leaders. Our school proudly serves students from Grades 7 to 12, including Burlington Central Elementary (Grades 7–8) and Burlington Central High School (Grades 9–12), offering English, French Immersion, the International Baccalaureate program, and Specialist High Skills Major Programs in Construction, Arts & Culture, and Manufacturing.

Our school is located in a beautiful 1922 heritage building, enhanced with modern facilities and engaging learning spaces. From our vibrant arts and athletic programs to our advanced technology and STEM offerings, we strive to create a dynamic and inclusive environment where every student can explore their passions, build skills, and prepare for their future.

At Burlington Central, parent and community engagement are central to student success. We invite families to get involved through our Parent Involvement Committee (PIC), school council, and ongoing community partnerships. Together, we support our students’ growth, celebrate diversity, and foster a culture of equity and inclusion.

Our students benefit from a broad range of programs and pathways designed to meet their unique learning needs, including the International Baccalaureate Program, Specialist High Skills Majors, co-op, and dual credit programs. Whether in the classroom, the arts, sports, or through community initiatives, students at Burlington Central are encouraged to lead, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to the world around them.

We are also committed to sustainability and civic responsibility and engaging students in projects that promote environmental stewardship and social awareness.

As your principal, I am thrilled to be part of a school that values academic excellence, community, equity, and growth. Burlington Central is more than a school; it is a place where students are empowered to discover their potential, pursue their passions, and become thoughtful, responsible leaders of tomorrow.

Thank you for being part of our school community. We look forward to a year filled with learning, achievement, and memorable experiences.

Warm regards,

Ms. P. Clark
