School Council

School Council Brings Our Community Together

School Council is a valuable partner to our school community.  Together, we work to make improvements and support student growth and achievement.  Over the past few years the GK School Council has provided school wide activities (e.g., Jungle Sport, Drumming experiences, X-Movement), equipment for recess bins, and painted games on the blacktop to support student engagement.  The School Council promotes a positive sense of community by hosting events such as Movie Nights and a "Spring in Sustainability" Night for families.  Thanks to our School Council, we are supported with many volunteers and financial enhancements to make George Kennedy a wonderful place to be!
