Principal’s Message

Kilbride Public School is a vibrant community nestled in the scenic beauty of the town of Kilbride in North Burlington. With approximately 225 students from Kindergarten to Grade 8, we are proud to offer an inclusive and respectful high achieving learning environment. At Kilbride, relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that strong connections—among students, staff, families, and community partners—are foundational to student success. We are committed to fostering a culture of care, inclusion, and belonging where every student is seen, heard, and valued.

Our work is guided by the Halon District School Board’s Multi-Year Strategic Plan, which centres around achieving excellence in learning, equity, kindness, connection, community and well-being. Through this lens, we ensure that every student learns in an identity-affirming space that respects all cultures, upholds Indigenous rights, and supports mental health. Our school actively champions equity, anti-racism, and anti-oppression, recognizing the importance of dismantling barriers and creating pathways for every student to thrive.

At Kilbride, students are encouraged to explore their interests through a variety of opportunities to grow as thinkers, innovators, and leaders in a 21st-century world, both within and beyond the classroom. Our goal is to empower them as collaborative thinkers, innovative problem-solvers, and compassionate citizens.

Together with caregivers and our community, we work to ensure that all students are equipped not just for academic success, but for lifelong learning and well-being. Our dedicated staff are here to nurture, support, and inspire our students every step of the way.

We look forward to another incredible year of growth, connection, and discovery.

Thank you, Sheilagh Wright, Principal
