The Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) as an independent provincial agency, tests key points in every student's primary, junior and secondary education, and reports results to educators, parents and the public.
EQAO assessments measure student achievement in reading, writing, and math against Ontario Curriculum expectations. Assessments yield individual student, school, board and provincial results.
Note: Successful completion of the OSSLT is a requirement of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma
Individual student results of EQAO assessments are shared with parents/guardians and distributed directly by individual schools while school, Board and provincial results are shared with public.
