About Us

Maple Grove Public School (MGPS) is a welcoming and lively school community located in the heart of Oakville, Ontario. Being within the Halton District School Board, our school has access to many educational resources, diverse learning opportunities, and immersive experiences. The kindergarten to Grade 8 student body allows for a vibrant atmosphere, with many opportunities for junior/intermediate students to lead.

From bell to bell, Maple Grove offers a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities that engage students of all grades throughout their academic career. From athletics (e.g., volleyball, badminton, and basketball) and clubs (e.g., debate, chess, and art) to musical groups (e.g., choir and concert band), students can explore their interests and experience learning beyond the classroom.

Throughout the year, school-wide events are hosted by various student-led and parent-led groups, which strengthen our sense of belonging and community. Activities such as the House Activity, organized by the Student Senate Team, and lively dance parties, hosted by School Council, create opportunities for all students to connect, build friendships, and celebrate school spirit among their peers.

At Maple Grove Public School, it has been made a commitment to ensure that every student is seen, heard, and valued. Together, as a community, we continue to make Maple Grove a place where learning, leadership, and academic success are celebrated. With the support of the dedicated staff, passionate students, and caring families, Maple Grove stands as a community where everyone belongs and every voice matters.

Be kind and take care of each other!
