At HDSB we want all our students to be successful. Placement in a HDSB elementary and/or secondary school is based on the evaluation of the student’s academic standing, initial assessment results and the availability of space. Students must meet these Application Criteria and must agree to the following conditions linked below:
Fees and Timelines
In Ontario, the secondary school year is divided into two (2) semesters:
- Semester 1 - September to January
- Semester 2 - February to June
- Semester 1 and 2 (full year) - May 31
- Semester 2 (February admission) - November 30
International Student Fees
Elementary school (2017-2018 school year):
$13,325 (Cdn.) full year (includes application fee of $325.00)
Secondary school (2017-2018 school year):
$14,325 (Cdn.) for a full year (includes application fee of $325.00)
$7,325 (Cdn.) for a single semester (includes application fee of $325.00)
The tuition fees must be paid in full prior to the release of the student's Letter of Acceptance.
