Calling all three-year olds!

Starting Kindergarten is a big milestone, and the Halton District School Board (HDSB) wants to ensure families feel prepared and excited as they set their children on the path to lifelong learning and success. 

Families with children who will be starting kindergarten in September 2026 were invited to attend the HDSB’s Calling All Three-Year-Olds Kindergarten Open Houses this October and November in Acton, Georgetown, Burlington, Milton and Oakville.

Please note: The Fall 2025 Kindergarten open houses are now complete. Dates for the Kindergarten open houses that will take place in Fall 2026 will be shared in September 2026. 

Do you have a child starting Kindergarten in September 2026? Register now! 

Families with children beginning Kindergarten in September 2026 can now register for school. 

To begin Kindergarten in September 2026, children must be four years old by Dec. 31, 2026 for Junior (Year 1) Kindergarten and must be five years old by Dec. 31, 2026 for Senior (Year 2) Kindergarten.
