Our fundraising supports programs and experiences that benefit all students at River Oaks P.S. throughout the year.

Typical Activities

• Cookie sales
• Hot lunch programs (Pizza)
• Snack bar concessions
• Muskoka Roastery Coffee Fundraiser
• Fun Fair
• Popcorn sales

How Funds Are Used

• Field trips, graduation, and Concert Band trip to Nationals
• Athletics support and sports officials
• Musical instruments, supplies, and art materials
• STEM equipment (VEX IQ kits, Robotix kits, Science room items, Design & Tech)
• Library books, novels, and literacy materials (Bug Club Morphology)
• Angel Fund, flexible seating, classroom supplies, and garden resources

Transparency

All activities comply with Halton District School Board Administrative Procedures, with proceeds tracked in dedicated accounts (School Generated Funds and School Council) to directly benefit student priorities. Although overall sales across campaigns were lower than initial target goals, raised funds directly enriched learning, sports, and extracurricular experiences.
