The Minister of Education’s Student Advisory Council is a group of 60 students chosen from Grades 7 – 12 across Ontario. Everyone is welcome, no special qualifications apply.
Students share ideas and advice with the Minister of Education to make sure Ontario school continue to be the best in the world. They are encouraged to “be the change” and “think big”.
Student Advisory Council duties:
• meet with the Education Minister twice a year
• create subcommittees for matters of interest and organize discussions (online)
• be available to be consulted on policy and programs when they impact on students
• attend the
Regional Student Forum
