Bienvenue aux familles de Sunningdale!
Hello Sunningdale families,
I am so looking forward to joining the Sunningdale community as Principal. I have worked in the education field for 24 years, as a teacher and in a variety of leadership roles. I am committed to student well-being, and building inclusive and collaborative school communities.
I look forward to getting to know you and building partnerships with families and staff. Together as a learning community we can continue to support student achievement and an environment where students feel valued and supported.
On behalf of the entire Sunningdale Staff, I wish to extend a warm welcome to all of our new families and students who are new in our community and to the Grade 2 students and families who are joining the Sunningdale family. We know that you are going to love Sunningdale and we look forward to meeting you all this year!
Ongoing communication between the school and home is essential to supporting your children’s progress and success. As parents/guardians, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher directly if you have any questions or concerns. Your involvement in your child’s education is vital. Communication is essential in the teaching/learning process. Addressing a concern or question early on will help to avoid misunderstandings.
We continue to communicate with our school community through School Messenger emails, a monthly newsletter and the Sunningdale School Website. Teachers will communicate directly with families via email, Google Classroom and by telephone.
We are looking forward to an incredible year with our Stingrays!
