Principal’s Message
I am honoured to introduce myself as the principal of Tiger Jeet Singh Public School in the Halton District School Board as of January 2026.
In my professional life, I have been in the education sector for the past 38 years. After teaching nationally and internationally for 12 years, I joined HDSB in 2001 as a school administrator. In the past 25 years, I have been extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to embark on the projects of opening two brand new schools in the growing Halton District School Board and leading a 25th celebration of another school. Tiger Jeet Singh PS is my 6th school as an administrator. I like to learn, share, celebrate, and bring people together to build strong teams!
Every morning, we welcome over 900 future leaders to Tiger Jeet Singh Public School. Our students come with a range of experiences, skills, and backgrounds. We are very proud of our diversity! Our students strive to 'Be Kind, to Work Hard, and to Make a Difference' every day!
We have a dynamic group of educators and support staff who show their commitment and care to every child every day at our school. They are always committed to providing a highly engaging learning experience while ensuring the health and safety of everyone in our school community.
Our core belief is that every child brings unique strengths, talents, and interests. By understanding each learner, together, we continue to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where all students thrive to the best of their ability. We continue to prioritize student well‑being, achievement, and a respectful school climate through the implementation of HDSB’s Discriminatory and Harmful Language Protocol.
As a team, we remain committed to offering a wide range of curricular and extracurricular opportunities that make school life meaningful and enjoyable. Strong partnerships with families are essential to this work, and we always encourage families to participate in school events and volunteer as you are able to; your involvement makes a significant difference.
