2021 Student Excellence Awards
Congratulations to all of the 2021 HDSB Student Excellence Award Winners!
The virtual Celebration of Student Excellence event was held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 6 to recognize this year’s Student Excellence recipients. The event video honours 104 outstanding students who are recipients of this year’s Student Excellence Award. The recording of this event will remain online for families to view.
Each year, elementary and secondary schools in the HDSB nominate one student per school for this recognition. Students can only receive this honour once in their school career. The event has been a Board tradition since 1984.
The nominations for these outstanding students cite qualities such as “striving for excellence”, “positive attitude”, “honesty”, “integrity”, “being empathetic to others”, “involvement in community”, and “inclusivity”.
