Our clubs and teams offer the perfect mix of challenge, creativity and community, and are available all year round. If you have an idea for a club that is not listed, please come down to the main office to speak to any member of the Admin team.

Open to all grades! Explore the cosmos and learn about natural phenomena in the great expanse of the universe. Members meet every Friday at lunch in room 213 to discuss upcoming celestial events and all things space related

Bay Area Science & Engineering Fair (BASEF) Room: 119

Students who wish to participate in the weekend competition meet to work on refining and completing their projects under the guidance of a teacher. Students are encouraged to help each other by providing feedback and advice on project concepts, builds and displays.

This is a student run social club where highschool students have an opportunity to meet new people in a fun environment. Each week we play a new game.

The current idea of the club is to help students gain venture funding and materials to succeed in their own business pursuits and passion projects. It will be a space for students to network, get materials and design spaces to work on their own businesses/engineering projects. We are open to taking any other suggestions on how to provide value for you!
Film Analysis Club Room: 132

Film Analysis is aimed to be a fun and relaxing club. Students organize a variety of different films to watch, and then discuss their thoughts and opinions about each film after watching.
Lion’s Leadership EQUITY Sub-Council Meet: By consultation / appointment with staff

Coordinated through the support of Lion’s Leadership and the guiding council consortium of student leaders, this sub-council ensures that student voice informs strategies to eliminate anti-Black racism, anti-Indigenous racism, and other forms of discrimination in schools and improve student learning and engagement. Please see Ms. Rajcak for more information. Everyone is welcome!
Girls Golf Club   Focus is for girls who are new to the sport. We will be working with a golf professional at both indoor and outdoor training sites.

What Link Crew is:
Link crew is a program for Gr.9s to get them ready for and give them an amazing high school experience!
The link crew is made of Gr.11 and 12 students who mentor and have some fun with the Gr.9s!
We have a link orientation on the first day of school so we can get to know our grade nines, and do super cool activities (like a link dance) throughout the year!

To create a collaborative and cohesive school community where all teams/clubs are supported by one another, create a shared calendar and plan events together, incorporating all aspects of school life: well-being, inclusion, equity, and leadership in our school and community.

Each team/council is invited to be part of the whole school planning.

This group of students will continue to promote allyship, raise awareness for and create safe & brave spaces in our school for the LGBTQ+ community
Math Contests No regular meeting - check announcements for upcoming contests! Love math? Enjoy solving problems under strict time constraints? Have a very sharp #2 pencil? Math Contests are for you! Participate in several provincial math contests throughout the school year.
Model UN Room: 226

Day: Monday
Model UN simulations engage hundreds of thousands of students each year, helping them learn about the fundamentals of the United Nations and its role in a global setting. Many of today’s leaders in law, government, and business once participated in Model UN as students, including those who now work in the United Nations. These simulations will give students the opportunity to discuss and debate significant global events and crises. Students take on the role of diplomats, representing nations from around the world as they gain an understanding of the UN system, along with skills in debate, conflict resolution, and negotiation. Most importantly, Model UN team members enjoy a unique blend of fun and learning as they acquire an understanding of the inner workings of world diplomacy through the lens of current global events.
Muslim Student Association (MSA) Room: Seminar Room

The MSA will act to lead a series of youth-driven events meant to ignite the spirit of community and give people a chance to contribute to building a better society.
The MSA will also set up a prayer room.
