Principal’s Report:
● Elementary Assembly F/U- See attached email from School Admin re: R+R Room and
Green Slip process.
● Concerns as it relates to issues with bathrooms and vandalism since returning from
break i.e. destroying soap dispensers, toilet paper racks and vandalising stalls.
Teacher’s Reports
● Elementary- Grade 8 students- starting to prepare them with a list of skills and general
information on transition into Grade 9.
● Two Elementary Field Trips planned for February and March- BPAC for Black History
Month and Ski Trip to Chicopee.
● Secondary- Clubs have all started back up post break.
● Athletics- playoffs begin next week. See status update page via weekly email for updates.
● 2 athletes from ski/snowboard going to OFSA.
● Feeder school volleyball tournament a success raising over $1000 for athletics which will
go toward new jerseys for the soccer team.
● iSTEM- see attached updates.

● New Income: Pizza/Purdy’s fundraisers put us at $11,483.15 in our account.

● Term 3 Pizza and Subs coming soon! Always looking to add to our list of available
volunteers to help serve.
7. Open Discussion (5 mins) - Joanne
● Boundary review – Second meeting yesterday with options presented. No options
impact Aldershot Elementary enrollment. Will update as dialogue progresses.
● Attended Super Council meeting- Fundraising, council initiatives all discussed. Road
blocks for fundraising, school engagement, community demographics and more are all
shared in open forum.
● Garage Sale Fundraiser- May 2nd
● Parking spot $40.00 per spot. Lions Club BBQ. Compassion society will be present and
more! Will need more volunteers!
● Catherine- Shoe drive fundraiser will commence in spring. Perfect opportunity for
students to achieve Kid volunteer hours. Shoe drive.
