HDSB Secondary School Open House

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, the Halton District School Board will host a board-wide, interactive Open House at Craig Kielburger Secondary School in Milton from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

This event is designed to help students in Grades 6–10 and their families explore the full range of opportunities available across our secondary schools, including programs and pathways, academics, athletics, clubs, community and support and student life.

Calling all three-year olds!

Starting Kindergarten is a big milestone, and the Halton District School Board (HDSB) wants to ensure families feel prepared and excited as they set their children on the path to lifelong learning and success. 

Families with children who will be starting kindergarten in September 2027 are invited to attend the HDSB’s Calling All Three-Year-Olds Kindergarten Open Houses this fall. Incoming students and their families will be able to visit a kindergarten classroom, meet with community partners, and learn more about the kindergarten program at HDSB. All events run from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Beginning October 1, families with children starting Kindergarten in September 2027 can register for school.

To begin Kindergarten in September 2027, children must be four years old by Dec. 31, 2027 for Junior (Year 1) Kindergarten and must be five years old by Dec. 31, 2028 for Senior (Year 2) Kindergarten.
