Exam Schedule

Dear students, parents and guardians,

Please review the Final Evaluation Schedule and reach out to your child’s teachers with any questions or concerns. All examinations are to be completed in person on the dates as outlined in the final evaluation schedule.

• Period 5: Thursday, January 22 at 9:30 am
• Period 4: Friday, January 23 at 9:30 am
• Period 3: Friday, January 23 at 12:45 pm
• Period 2: Monday, January 26 at 9:30 am
• Period 1: Tuesday, January 27 at 9:30 am

Note: Students who have two exams scheduled on Friday, January 23rd may request that their Period 3 exam, scheduled for Friday afternoon, be re-scheduled. Students should see Ms. Everett in the main office if interested in re-scheduling. The last day to make these requests is Friday, January 16.

Emergency School Closure Policy: If there is a bus cancellation or the school is closed for a day during the exam period, the exams for that day will be postponed. In this circumstance, we will send an email with the revised schedule.

Absences: If a student is ill and will be missing a scheduled final evaluation, please report the absence via go.schoolmessenger.ca and contact the school to speak with an administrator to make alternative arrangements.

Planned Absences: It is expected that families avoid any planned absences during the final evaluation block. If, for extenuating circumstances, a student will be absent for any portion of their CPT (culminating performance task) and/or during a final evaluation, please contact their Vice Principal. Alternative arrangements will be considered on a case by case basis.

Cafeteria: Please note that the cafeteria servery will be closed during the exam days.

Busing: Bus arrival and departure times will follow the regular schedule during exams.

Exam Review Day: On Thursday, January 29, students will have the opportunity to review their Semester 1 final evaluations. The schedule for the day is posted below. Attendance will be taken, there will be no cafeteria service, and buses will run according to their regularly scheduled pick-up and drop-off times.

PD Day: Friday, January 30th is a PD Day. Semester 2 courses will begin on Monday, February 2.
