Honour Roll

Honour Roll Criteria

Honour Roll recognition is based on credits earned between September 1 and August 31 of the school year. To qualify, students must achieve an overall average of 80% or higher, calculated using the following minimum number of courses:

  • Year 1 & Year 2 Students* – Best 8 courses
  • Year 3 Students – Best 7 courses
  • Year 4 Students – Best 6 courses

* Year 1 refers to a student in their first year of high school.
** For January graduates leaving after Semester 1, Honour Roll status is based on their best 3 courses.

Ontario Scholar Criteria

Grade 12 Students

Ontario Scholar designation is awarded to students who achieve an average of 80% or higher in their top 6 Grade 12 coded courses. These courses may be taken in any year of high school.
