Buses and Transportation
Busing is administered by Halton Student Transportation Services (HSTS), which provides shared busing for the Halton District School Board and Halton Catholic District School Board. Each school year, approximately 31,500 students who attend 160 public and Catholic schools across Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton, and Oakville rely on school bus transportation to and from school.
Accessible School Transportation Service
We are committed to ensuring that integrated accessible school transportation service is available to students. Alternative accessible transportation services are available for students with disabilities, where, in the opinion of the school board, integrated accessible school transportation services are not possible or not the best option for a student with a disability due to the nature of the disability or safety concerns.
