Iroquois Ridge High School is a designated French Immersion secondary school, welcoming students continuing their immersion journey from elementary school. Students complete courses taught in French across a range of subjects, building the confidence and fluency to study, work and live in both official languages.

Iroquois Ridge High School offers the College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) program, allowing students to pursue university-level studies while earning Ontario credits. For the 2026-27 school year, AP-aligned courses are offered in Functions in Grade 11, and Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, Biology and Chemistry in Grade 12. Students may also choose to write an AP exam in May to potentially earn advanced standing or university credit at recognized postsecondary institutions in Canada and more than 60 other countries.

The Specialist High Skills Major program is a specialized program for Grade 11 and 12 students that allows them to focus their learning on a specific economic sector while meeting the requirements to graduate from secondary school. Cooperative Education provides secondary students with valuable experiential learning to apply, refine and extend their learning from the classroom into the community. Co-op allows students to earn secondary school credits while completing a work experience placement with employers across Halton in fields that interest them.
Athletics
Iroquois Ridge High School fields teams across Halton in every season, competing through the Halton Secondary School Athletic Association and OFSAA. From tryouts in Grade 9 to championship runs in Grade 12, there is a place for every athlete to compete, grow and belong.

Iroquois Ridge High School's guidance team supports every student with course selection, pathway planning and post-secondary preparation. Sharing a campus with the Iroquois Ridge Community Centre, the school builds a strong sense of belonging for students and families throughout its Family of Schools.
There are five Pathways that students may choose to pursue after secondary school and they are all valued equally. They are Apprenticeship, College, Community, University and Work.
Through Pathways, students are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunities provided in secondary school to know themselves, identify strengths, set educational and career goals and create a plan to achieve them. Working independently, with their guidance counsellor or with support staff, Iroquois Ridge students are encouraged to leverage all areas of programming, both academic and cocurricular, to plan a future that fits their individual goals and aspirations.
