If you provided your child’s school with a mobile phone number upon registration, you were sent a text message from SchoolMessenger providing you with the opportunity to opt-in to receive text messages from the HDSB. The text message requested that parents/guardians reply “Y” to opt-in to receive attendance text notifications.
- If you replied “Y” to the text message, you are subscribed to receive notifications by text about your child’s attendance.
- If you did not reply to the text message, you will not receive notifications by text from the HDSB.
