PIC Terms of Reference and Bylaws
Each School Council should assign one or two parent members to volunteer as a school-based PIC representative. These individuals are not part of the HDSB Parent Involvement Committee, but do act as a liaison between the board-school-parent community, actively promoting parent engagement within their school and positively promoting home and school partnerships. They also receive information and support from the Parent Involvement Committee to support parent engagement within their school and support to access PROgrants, which offer funding to schools to support parent learning and engagement.
