Homestay Providers for HDSB Students in the International Student Program
The Halton District School Board is pleased to provide international students with the option of living with a homestay family through one of the approved providers listed below. Secondary students in the International Student Program (ISP) must either:
- Live with a parent on a full-time basis, or
- Select one of the approved homestay providers.
This arrangement must be declared to and verified by the ISP Office on a semester basis.
Canada Homestay Network (CHN)
CHN manages homestay services for HDSB, providing international students with welcoming families and custodianship services to support their experience in Canada.

Dream Homestay Ontario (DHO)
DHO partners with HDSB and other Ontario schools to provide international students with a safe, comfortable, and culturally supportive homestay experience. 24/7 support is available.

Part of the international Educatius Group, this provider offers specialized high school homestay programs, multilingual support, and limited custodianship assignments for enhanced care.
