Before & After School Care
To help keep our school safe and organized, please review the following important procedures for visitors and student pick-up:
- All visitors must sign in at the main office upon arrival.
- Items being dropped off for students can be left on the front door cart for pick-up at an appropriate time.
- Volunteers must have a current police check on file and must sign in at the office when visiting the school.
- If you need to pick up your child during the school day, please report the absence through the school absence reporting system before 10:00 a.m.
- Providing advance notice helps avoid unnecessary interruptions to classrooms and office call-ins. Students will be sent to the office at the designated pick-up time.
Please let the school know if your child has:
- A life-threatening allergy
- Asthma
- Another medical condition requiring support at school
A Plan of Care will be created for students who require medical support.
If your child is transferring from another HDSB school, their current Plan of Care will be transferred and can be updated for the new school year.
Families who are new to HDSB can obtain medical forms through the school office. Please complete all required forms and provide medication to the school on the first day.
Additional information is also available through the Student Health section of the school website
