  • Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Football team for an AMAZING win against Aldershot on Friday night Under the lights!  Thank you to all staff and students who came out to support the team.

  • Tonight the football team will be having their Friday Night Lights football game at Nelson Stadium.  Doors open at 6:30PM.  Tickets can be purchased on School Cash Online. Make sure to wear your TAB spiritwear!! 

  • Yesterday the Cross Country Team travelled to Christie Lake Conservation Area for the most challenging meet outside of OFSAA, the Gryphon Open.  The Tigers took on close to 1300 other runners and showed huge amounts of grit.  Ethan Deveaux was the top scorer on the day, taking home gold in the Senior Boys race.

If you’re running Schnurricane next week, let Mr. Rochus know today!

  • ENG/ESL Clinic running today at lunch in S118.  If you need any help with writing assignments or your ENG/ESL work, grab your lunch and come by S118.

  • Today is the Terry Fox Run and we’re so excited to see everyone out showing support.  Remember, today is all about carrying on Terry Fox’s legacy and helping raise money for cancer research, so if you have any donations bring them to your period 2 class!  Keep those donations coming tigers! 

  • We’ll kick things off with a Terry Fox assembly after period 2, and then we will head outside for the Terry Fox Run/ walk!  It’s a 5k trail for the runners and a 3k for those who want to walk!  Afterwards we will head to the field for a BBQ!  We have Burgers, Hotdogs, Veggie dogs, Freezes and Pop  for sale, in person with cash  or available on school cash online. 

  • If you have any money left over….  Please participate in soak-a- senior!  Your chance to dump water right over a participating senior’s head!  Buckets are $2 for small, $4 for medium, and $10 for MEGA JUMBO SOAKER

  • Let’s come together as a school community to honour Terry Fox and have some fun all while working toward our goal of raising $3,000 for cancer research!  Let’s get running Tigers! 

  • Students United in Christ is kicking off its first meeting today at 12:00 pm in Room E207.  This is a chance to connect with other students, hear what’s planned for the year, and enjoy some cookies while you’re at it.  The meeting will be brief, and everyone is welcome to come check it out!  

  • This Friday the football team will be having their Friday Night Lights football game at Nelson Stadium.  Doors open at 6:30PM. Tickets can be purchased on School Cash Online. 

  • Congratulations goes out to the Senior Girls basketball team for their win last night 34-23 over Iroquois Ridge.  Player of the game Emma Kellerman led the offence with 22 points.  Great work Tigers!

Get ready for Soak a Senior, your chance to drench a senior with a bucket of water!  Buckets are priced at $2 for small, $4 for medium, and $10 for MEGA JUMBO SPLASH, All proceeds go towards Cancer research. 

After the actual  Terry Fox Run, we’ll have a BBQ, with food still available to order through School Cash Online and on the day with cash.  There will also be Spikeball and Volleyball set up at the BBQ for everyone to enjoy.

  • Hey Tigers!  This year, let’s all do our best to reach our fundraising goal of $3,000 for cancer research during the Terry Fox Run.  And we’ve got some awesome events to help us get there!  On Tuesday, September 23, don’t miss the Student vs. Teacher Dodgeball Game!  There’s a $1 entry fee, and team sign-ups are now open at the T.  Teams can have up to 10 players, and the tournament will be a round-robin elimination.  Bring your energy, bring your team, and let’s raise money for a great cause.

  • We are now a week away from the Terry Fox run!  Before, let’s take a moment to remember who Terry was and why we ran. Terry Fox was only 18 when he lost his leg to cancer, but instead of giving up, he set out on his Marathon of Hope.  He ran a marathon a day to raise money for cancer research.  He inspired millions, and today, we continue his dream through the Terry Fox Run.  Let’s honour his courage by giving our best effort and raising funds for this important cause!  You can now start donating by bringing a loonie, toonie or dollar bills to your second period class, from now until September 25th.  Lets all try our best to reach our goal by raising 3000$ for Cancer research.
