TAB Guidance Appointment Booking

Step-by-Step

Book a guidance appointment in three quick steps. Choose your counsellor by last name, pick an available time using your HDSB or Gmail account, and add a brief note about what you’d like to discuss.

Step 1: Select your Guidance Counsellor’s calendar

Step 2: Choose an appointment time

The Guidance Counsellor’s calendar will open. Using your student’s HDSB account or a Gmail account, select an available appointment time (silver/grey boxes) that works best for you.

Note: If parents/custodians are attending the appointment, please book two consecutive slots to equal 30 minutes in total.

Step 3: Add details and save

In the description section of the pop-up window, please include what you’d like to discuss during the appointment (for example: timetable change, post-secondary planning, etc.). Then click Save.

Questions or technical issues? Please email Mrs. Svendsen at svendsend@hdsb.ca.

Student Timetables

2025-26 timetables were sent to students prior to the first day of school via their student HDSB email addresses.  Please note that timetables are tentative until a semester begins.  Placement of courses in a student's timetable may change before a semester begins.  This is also in effect for Semester 2.

Accessing your child's timetable

Student Timetables and attendance are accessible through the Parent Portal.  The student's Halton Student Number and birthday is required to access this information. Halton Student Numbers are located on the Student ID Card.

  1. Go to the TAB website:  hdsb.ca/tab
  2. Select the Parents tab
  3. Select Check Your Child's Attendance
  4. Enter Halton Student Number and Birthdate

NOTE: Parents may access their son/daughter’s course history/credit history via www.myblueprint.ca/halton

Forms

  • The Student Declaration for External Course Registration form must be completed by HDSB students registering for a course through an external provider. It ensures the credit is eligible for inclusion on their Ontario Student Transcript and outlines important responsibilities and deadlines for students, families, and schools.
  • The eLearning opt out form form allows parents/guardians or eligible students to formally opt out of the Ontario eLearning graduation requirement, which mandates two online course credits as part of the OSSD.
