Remembrance Day

Assemblies will be held at the school on Monday, November 11th, in recognition of Remembrance Day.

On Thursday, November 6th, our grade 8 students and grade 10 history class students attended a community event at Woodlawn Cemetery called No Stone Left Alone. Many of our students participated in the event, and I couldn't be prouder of how awesome they were. Aldershot was well represented!

Thank you to Ms. Evans for her incredible organization of this meaningful event, and the Grade 8 students for their active roles in making it so special. It was a true team effort between our Grade 8 and Grade 10 staff and students. Special thanks to Mme. Hellmann and her Grade 10 history class for their leadership. Dignitaries praised Aldershot’s outstanding involvement, with our students contributing to every aspect of the ceremony - even appearing in Global TV interviews.

Thanks also to Mr. Hull for his moving performances of The Last Post and The Lament, and to our Grade 8 staff for their guidance and support throughout the event.
